Ottawa Elementary School Spotlight

To spotlight our local students and their amazing work, this section is going to focus on one school per issue. Student’s artwork/writing will be shared in this space to show off their talent and perhaps a word from their principal and/or teachers.

Stacey Denison, Principal of Ottawa Elementary School, has this to say, “I wanted to showcase Bucky and our Ticket Bin for our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) we use to promote positive behavior. We also started a Little Bucks of the Week Wall, where we select students that have done an excellent job of following the Buck 3: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. This is a big part of what we do to support positive behavior in our students.”
