On behalf of our Buchanan Community, we wish to extend special condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and The Royal Family as they mourn with the globe the passing of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, Friday, April 9, 2021.
Born June 10, 1921, history’s longest-serving Consort to the Queen died just two months shy of his 100th birthday. Wed November 20, 1947, The Queen and Prince Philip were married almost 74 years and shared four children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrews, and Prince Edward.
His funeral ceremony will take place Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3pm local time (10am EST), and is to be held at St. George’s Chapel inside the grounds of Windsor Castle, his home and place of peaceful passing.
