Since the onset of this pandemic and all of the measures taken to minimize the spread of COVID-19, we’ve all seen markings at public places to aid people with maintaining social distancing. We’ve seen all sorts of markings, but the one that sticks out to me is the simple X. That’s right folks, we’ve seen all these X’s marked either with a tape or paint. Now hold on, I say hold on a moment here – I’ve grown up watching many cartoons of the Road Runner and Coyote where that Wyle E. Coyote is ever attempting to capture that Road Runner…meep meep! So, forgive me if I don’t stand on of those darn X’s for fear someone may drop an ACME Anvil on my head or some kind of ACME cage over me!
Now speaking of surprises, the other day I was working in my office and it was real quiet like. My beagle was sitting quietly behind me keeping an ever-watchful eye over the backyard. Well without warning that beagle starts to howl and bark! You know those cartoons where the dog comes barking up on the cat and the cat jumps up to the ceiling and claws into the ceiling terrified? Yeah, that was me! My wife sure got a good laugh out of it. Keep laughing folks! 😊
