Every year around Memorial Day weekend is the time to plant flowers for the summer. Whether planting petunias, geraniums, or marigolds, in hanging baskets or pots you need potting soil to do so. Yeah, you need to buy dirt. The funny part is when you think you have got enough dirt, you do not. Even funnier is when you think you have enough flowers, you have more. All part of the fun of gardening I suppose. I happened to have enough dirt at first, but after I was done planting in all the usual spots I had flowers left over to plant. So, I did not have enough dirt after all. LOL!
