BARBECUE FUNDRAISER:

We are excited that Wood, Stock, & Grill will be sponsoring our Barbecue Fundraiser on August 20 at the Commons during the Keller Williams show. Purchase tickets for $15 online at http://www.buchananlibrary.org or stop in the library! Dinner includes ribs, chicken, coleslaw, and a role. The library will once again be selling assorted chips, soda pop, and ice cream to top off your meal! TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

READ WITH A DOG:

Before school starts come read with Journey the yellow lab on Friday, August 27 for 15 minutes between 9–11am. Ahvee, the black lab will return on Wednesday, September 29 from 4–6pm. Sign-up at the library or call to save your spot!

ONE BOOK ONE BUCHANAN:

It’s not too late to join us in our community wide read of the book Caste: The Origins of our Discontent by Pulitzer Prize winner Isabel Wilkerson. Register on our website for your copy of the book or stop in or call the library. We will have a community wide discussion on Wednesday, September 1, at Buchanan Common Stage. Facilitators of the discussion include Ruth Writer, Trish Robinson, Harvey Burnett, and Kadin Mills along with Sarah Gault and Meg Paulette. Please join us for this open discussion and refreshments.
