Berrien County Youth Fair 2021

by The Buchanan Chronicle Team

The 75th anniversary of The Berrien County Youth Fair was here! Some of our team attended at various times throughout the week, and enjoyed the fair food. We also took a poll of attendees and asked them what is their favorite fair food. We did notice a pattern of corn dogs and elephant ears were the favorites. Some also said steak tips, tacos, etc…

  • Nik: (see his fair food video on our Facebook page HERE)
  • Rebecka: My favorites are fresh-squeezed lemonade, elephant ears and popcorn. However, I did share a cinnamon roll with my husband and daughter and that was really good too!
  • Jen: My fair must-haves are the bucket of nachos, strawberry lemonade shake-up, elephant ears, and I can’t say no to deep-fried oreos.
  • Tom: My favorites include the Korn Dog, cinnamon roll, fresh-squeezed lemonade and of course the elephant ear. (see his fair food video below)

On a side note, we were able to get a photo with the King of Berrien County Youth Fair. Congratulations to our own hometown King, Frank Furst!
