
January Events at Buchanan Area Senior Center

Below are some programs at the BASC in January:

- PAST EVENT:
- Get to know your State Representative Brad Paquette at the BASC Coffee Chat – Wednesday, January 5, at 9:00 am.
- State Rep. Brad Paquette was first elected to serve the 78th District in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2018. Rep. Paquette serves as Chair of the House School Aid & Dep. Of Education Appropriations Subcommittee. He vice-chairs Education Committee and is also a member of the Local Government & Municipal Finance Committee, and the Energy Committee.

- UPCOMING EVENT:
- Join the BASC at Conversations with Friends Ft. Vergie Wolfe – Tuesday, January 11, at 11:00 am
- Virgie is a 90 year young woman who stays busy leading the BASC Quilting & Sewing group, as well as creating her own crafts. She lives in Buchanan, but still has southern ties. Learn more about Vergie’s adventures as she shares with us some of her stories on Tuesday, January 11, at 11:00 am.

- ONGOING EVENT:
- Call your friends and have them meet you at the BASC – Thursdays, from 1:00—3:00 pm, to play your favorite games!
- We have the following games available Cribbage, TIC, Backgammon, Dominoes, Plus more!
- Please feel free to bring your own games!
- (The Buchanan Area Senior Center is open to those in the Buchanan Serving Area and ages 60 and up.)
