Farewell to a Terrific Programmer, Sarah Gault at Buchanan District Library
by Rebecka Hoyt, Editor & Photographer
Thursday, January 13, 2022 was the day Buchanan District Library held a “Goodbye Party” for Program Coordinator, Miss Sarah Gault. She will be moving down to Knoxville, TN and start her dream job at the Make-A-Wish Foundation as an event programmer.

A personalized cake with Sarah holding an alligator, mini cupcakes and a few beverages were enjoyed as people of all ages came with “Congratulations,” and “We’re going to miss you” tears. There was also a slideshow of the many storytimes, summer reading programs, senior days, Star Wars Reads Day, Rock & Read, teen clubs, past and current library directors and other staff, as well as contributors to the library. Photos were taken with her friends and small kids and kids who have grown up who benefited from these past/current programs at the library.

The Buchanan Chronicle would like to thank Miss Sarah for her 10 & ½ years at the library and we wish you all the best in your future at the Make-A-Wish Foundation and safe travels. You truly have been a blessing to our small community and your heart shows it! We will miss you and will look forward to seeing you when you come back for a visit.
Thank you for being part of the Buchanan District Library!
