List of Rare Diseases Among our Buchanan Chronicle Readers

Did you know that there is a day set aside for rare diseases? On the last day of February each year, this year is Feb. 28, 2022 all rare diseases are made aware. We put out a call to our followers on Facebook to have them list the rare disease they know. You may click on this link: National Organization for Rare Diseases website to see if a disease you know about is on this list.

  1. Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency
  2. Charcot-Marie-Tooth Type 1X (CMT1X)
  3. Cystic Fibrosis
  4. Dermatitis Herpetiformis
  5. Essential Tremor
  6. Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
  7. Immune-Thromboyctopenia
  8. Multiple Myeloma
  9. Polymyositis

We would like to wish all of the people that have these rare diseases and others that we may not know about yet, the best for you and to never give up!
