MARCHing into Spring

There is so much happening that it’s hard to keep track of it all, but here are some highlights:

~ The Buchanan City Commission has declared the month of March as “March for Band” month!

~ The City of Buchanan encourages its residents and business owners to give special recognition and support to our local School Band each year during the month of March, which will hereafter officially be designated as “March for Band” month within the City of Buchanan.

~ The city would like to express thanks and gratitude to the members, past and present, of the Buchanan School Band for their generous contributions of time and talent shared with the community!  Look for their Go Fund me on the City’s Facebook page. 

~ March is reading month.  I was lucky enough to be asked to read to the students at Ottawa Elementary, and had a blast doing it.  One young man thought so much of my reading that he changed my title to President of Michigan.  I’m not sure what to say about that, so I will leave it there.

~ Restaurant Week took place in early March and was a huge success in my opinion.  Bucktown Fog, Chicken Salad, Cheesecake.  Need I say more?

~ Looking forward to the Chili Walk, the Easter Egg hunt and all that April has to offer.
