Cub Scout Pack 541 Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby for Cub Scout Pack 541 was held on Tuesday April 5th 6:30 to 8:00pm at the First United Methodist Church. Cub scouts receive a block of wood, four wheels and four nails for axles. Scouts and parents work together to create a pinewood race car. Cars race down an aluminum track for the fastest time. Awards were given for 1st place: Brooks Desenberg; 2nd place: Alex Bertham; 3rd place and voters favorite car: Eli Plew. You may have also seen the cars displayed in Redbud Hardware’s windows this past week!
