Now That’s Funny! – Issue 27

by Thomas Hoyt

In a previous issue, I had written about how men and women are so different. I wrote about how we communicate differently. When a man hears a woman give an observation, that’s code for a request to do something.

For Easter weekend, my daughter, wife, and I traveled up to the greater Muskegon, MI area to spend time with her family. This is where there is another major difference between men and women: all in what we pack for a weekend. 🤣For a man, again, we are basic. I packed the necessary change of clothes, toiletries, and needed medication. My side of the suitcase had room to spare! She, on the other hand, had to put some of her stuff on my side! 🤣

Apparently, women are not nearly as basic as men. Women pack more than men. In addition to necessary change of clothes, she likes to have more choices of what to wear. Then there are all of the, shall I say, tools for beautification which include, but are not limited to, a hair dryer, a hair straightener, all manner of brushes and/or combs, shampoo and conditioner, all kinds of cosmetics, etc. When all is said and done, I have to grunt when I pick up the suitcase! 🤣 My father-in-law usually comments when we arrive, “Did you pack for week?” 🤣🤣🤣

Keep laughing folks! 😊
