- Mr. Mark Kurland, Assistant Superintendent, presented to the board. Mr. Kurland spoke of and had available for review curriculum from Fundations and Writing Revolution for grades K-4th.

- MASB Communications & Marketing Conference:
- Mrs. Laesch reported to the board of the two day conference she had attended. She shared the training videos and handouts with board members.

O. 2022 Athletic Events – Overnight Field Trips
- MOTION by C. Carlson, SECONDED BY Member K. Laesch, the Buchanan Board of Education approves the following athletic events in accordance with board policy #2340:
- State Regional Final/Quarterfinal/State – The boys baseball team is expected to tentatively depart on June 10th and return on June 11th. They are also expected to tentatively depart on June 16th and return on June 18th. This trip will be under the supervision of Coach Jim Brawley.
- State Competition – The girls softball team is expected to tentatively depart on June 16th and return on June 18th, 2022. This trip will be under the supervision of Coach Rachel Carlson.

- WHEREAS:
- The Uniform Budget Act requires the 2022-2023 Budget be adopted prior to July 1, 2022.
- THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
- The public hearing for the 2022-2023 Budget will be held at 6:00pm on June 20, 2022 at Buchanan High School.
