Welcome Back! A New School Year at Moccasin

School Vision: Moccasin will create a safe and positive learning environment where students will achieve grade level proficiency skills.

We are off to a great start at Moccasin as learning school-wide expectations were the primary focus week one. During the second week of school we began to gather assessment data in order to build meaningful instruction in the classroom.

2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grade teachers have been meeting during Wednesday PLC’s to discuss results of their common classroom assessments. For example, 4th grade teachers discussed the results of their first assessment over place value and comparing whole numbers. Teachers will then build on their instruction after analyzing student data.
