BASC Holiday Party 2022

On December 13, 2022 I was invited to the holiday party at by the Buchanan Area Senior Center. Even though I am not at that age myself yet, I’m a volunteer for them by transporting seniors to their doctor appointments. This has been a great addition to my things I do for the city. There was plenty of food to go around and afterwards there were many full bellies. Soon after everyone got their dessert done, it was time for BINGO. Along with BINGO they also had door prizes.
I was asked to pass a couple of notes along to you of some typical activities at the BASC, and here is a list of them. Oh by the way if you’re 55 and older, you’re welcome to the center.
- Monday: Euchre from 1pm to 4pm (card game)
- Tuesday: exercise class, pinochle, and quilting/sewing
- Wednesday: exercise and cards
- Thursday: yoga and game day
- Friday: exercise and fiber friends
