New Owners at 24hr Fitness Industry Gym in Buchanan

Since last September, Robie & Jenny Scoggin purchased Fitness Industry in Buchanan that is at the end of the Smoke Vision building at 400 E. Front Street. Owner, Jenny Scoggin said, “when the opportunity came, we took it.” They have two employees as well.
What is unique about Fitness Industry? They are open 24 hours. This allows “flexibility for those who work third shift, and it costs a lot at other places,” Jenny stated. Members have a key tag to come in and security cameras are placed throughout the fitness center. Business hours are: 9am – 7pm Monday – Friday, 10am – 2pm Saturday, and open 24 hours on Sunday (just no business hours). Children who are 14 years and up must come during the posted business hours. Also, one of their rules is to bring a pair of clean shoes to help keep the gym and equipment clean. You will notice the gym is clean.
- Fitness Industry has your typical workout equipment ranging from:
- Strength training
- Treadmills
- Ellipticals
- Weight lifting
- Stationary bikes
- Stretching area
There are two different sized rooms for weight lifting along with black chalkboard walls to post your achievements of weight lifting.
They have lockers for your belongings, just bring a lock with you. As well as three restrooms and one shower in one. You can also tan in their lay down or stand up tanning rooms. Some of the patrons have said that tanning helps them “to be in a better mood when it’s a gray day outside, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.” No contract is needed, as they charge your credit card monthly and you can cancel at any time.
