A Note from the Editor – Issue 46
by Rebecka Hoyt, Editor
As I write this note, it is hard to believe that the sun is shining and the temperature is 44℉. Isn’t it crazy how the weather has been this month to where Buchanan normally sees quite a bit of snow on the ground?! I hope that our readers in Buchanan and around us who are having more sun than normal are getting outside and enjoying it, even if it’s for a few minutes as the wind blows to make it chilly.
When the weather is too chilly for your comfort, come inside and grab a cup of hot tea, hot cocoa or coffee and take a look at this latest issue. As shared in our last issue, yesterday, Friday, February 17 2023 was National Random Acts of Kindness Day. Did you happen to pay it forward in a drive thru, open the door for someone, say “Hi” to a stranger, send a card/flowers to someone, or even call/text a friend/relative that you haven’t talked to in a while/long time? If so, please leave a comment on the Facebook post of this “Note From the Editor” article. We would like to know what you did.
There are pink survey flyers for our “Quarterly Subscription Printed Issues” in local Buchanan businesses, and you can take the survey, right here on our website. So click on this link now: take the Quarterly Printed Subscription Survey. We have only received 34 responses and would like many more! You may also email us at: buchananchronicle@att.net or call 269-697-9874. This should only take you a few minutes to do if you haven’t taken the survey yet. Please take the survey ASAP, as it may only be available for another month. The Buchanan Chronicle can only serve our community, or readers who may not live in Buchanan, the best we can for what our community/readers tell us and WE LISTEN!
Thank you to those who have taken the survey. After you have taken the survey, be sure to look at the rest of the issue, especially the Puzzles Page!
Happy Reading,
Rebecka Hoyt
