Meet Mr. Buchanan 2023: Seth Bromley

On Saturday, February 11, 2023, I got the chance to sit down with Seth Bromley, Buchanan’s 2023 Mr. Buchanan. The proud son of Mom Dianne and Dad David, Seth is a Senior at Buchanan High School and is looking forward to the future for many things.

Seth came to Buchanan his 6th grade year and will be finishing his schooling at Buchanan High this Spring. I asked Seth how his challenges were in school and the reply he gave me was plain “CHALLENGING!” because for him he had some difficulties in learning here and there, but over time they seemed to get easier for him as he gained skill in how to achieve through himself, friends, peers, family, and teachers.

Seth has a career goal right now to become a nurse of some sort. He is taking some of his courses through the High School & also through the job he is employed with right now. If Seth doesn’t have his nose in the books for being a nurse then in his free time he likes tennis as a sport or may be doing a cheer club after school.

Seth has also mentioned that nothing will get in his way as he represents himself as Mr. Buchanan… and being that role model. It has brought some things out in Seth as he was very timid at first until he went for Mr. Buchanan, some skills he’s learning include self-esteem, working through shyness, and the importance of peer support. In closing my interview with Seth, he is asking that you and anyone else come out to the Mendel Center “LMC” College on Sunday, April 16th at 6:30pm to support Seth in his bid for Mr. Blossomtime!
