ADVANCE CARE PLANNING: PEACE OF MIND FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES
TUESDAY, MAY 9 ~ 2PM

Advance Care Planning Presentation by Julie Griffen, Corewell Health

If you’re over 18, it’s important to name someone you trust to speak for you in a medical emergency. If you can’t, get a plan in writing, and share it with your family and healthcare providers. Getting this in order long before an emergency is a gift to your loved ones, removing the pressure of decisions and allowing them to “be your voice” instead.
These plans can and should be updated throughout your lifetime. Join us for an overview of how to choose a good advocate, what to discuss with them, and how to get your plan into the hands of everyone who needs it.
Please note the Advance Care Planning Presentation at the BASC is for
those 55+ years old.
Please call 269-695-7119 to register.
