May BAMA Monthly Meeting Recap

Last Tuesday we had a good meeting at St. Anthony.  We thank Father Leo and Patti Mitchell for their hospitality!  Those present were: Kevin Haislip, Bill Walters, Brendan Shea, Rachel Ernsperger, Dave Mitchell, Jann Mitchell, David Habicht, Dan Barz, Father Leo, Patti Mitchell, Nate Babcock, and guest Jeff Whittaker from the Niles Ministerial Association.  (If I have left out anyone who was there, I apologize, as I failed to write down who was present, and am working from memory:)

Also, last Thursday we had a good prayer meeting in downtown Buchanan for the National Day of Prayer.  Thank you Dave Mitchell for organizing and leading this!  

Upcoming is the annual baccalaureate service, which will be Sunday May 21st @ 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church.  Bud Holmes will be the speaker.  

It is time for our annual “voluntary dues” of $10 per person.  This contribution funds our membership as an organization in the Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce.  Please get your dues to Dan Barz, or bring it to our next meeting.  

There was unanimous agreement at Tuesday’s meeting that we will not do Faith & Family Day this year.  Instead, we are going to look to engage with other community leaders and organizations to learn and discern how we can best serve and reach out to the Buchanan community.  

Our next meeting will be Tuesday June 6th at 9:00 am at Faith Victory Fellowship.
