“We are thrilled to be working with amazing community partners, like Honor Credit Union, to bring free and equitable music to Buchanan. The Common is such a special venue that creates cultural experiences for all walks of life. This season is our most ambitious to date with nationally touring acts like Brendan Bayliss, Brian Vander Ark and AJ Lee & Blue Summit. We also will have three festivals; Shady Grove Fiddle Festival, Chippewapalooza and cap off our year with a community favorite of Shakedown Saturday presented by The Happy Campers. Our hope is that these shows help provide valuable economic opportunities for local businesses, provide financial support for the non profit community, and continue to fulfill our promise of creating a caring, vibrant community,” stated Michael Rowland.

Honor Credit Union’s Buchanan Member Center Manager Christy Layman and Community Development Officer Karol Behrle, presented Michael Rowland of Buchanan Summer Concert Series with a very nice $2,000.00 sponsorship in the afternoon of Monday, February 26, 2024, Photo provided by HCU

Honor Credit Union’s Karol Behrle states, “Honor Credit Union loves to support our local community events including these live outdoor concerts at the Buchanan Commons. Honor will be present at two concerts this summer: Thursday, August 15 for Newport Blues Project (Blues) and Saturday, July 27 for Brian Vander Ark of Verve Pipe (Rock). Stop by the Honor tent to meet the Buchanan team members and grab some fun swag.”

The Buchanan Summer Concert Series starts Saturday, June 1, 2024 with Brendan Bayliss of Umphrey’s McGee from 7pm – 9pm on the Buchanan Common stage. Concerts throughout the summer season are on Thursdays and Saturdays, so be sure to check the schedule, print it out and hang on your fridge!
